Goodnight. I am writing to you using a Google translator. Sorry.

I need a plugin to manage events and The Events Calendar is the right one. In fact, for commercial purposes I need the professional version. At the moment I have integrated the free version in the construction that I am doing in localhost and I see that there could be incompatibilities with the theme that I use, which is ‘Publisher’, by Better Studio. I would like to know if the problems that I am going to tell you can be corrected in the pro version. They are the following problems detected.

    – If I use the default event template, the visualization does not fit the desired aesthetics but in the default page template I do not see the event calendar, but the last published event. Is there any incompatibility with the theme? Can it be corrected?

    – In the list format with full styles the thumbnails are oversized. Is there an option to correct it?

    – Is it possible to customize the theme without code knowledge or would I have to do it with you? Basically, the support they offer is accessible to people with little knowledge to modify colors and image formats?

    – Can you create an event view on the homepage?

Thank you very much for your attention and congratulations for the plugin. I hope to incorporate it because, without the technique does not prevent it, it is fabulous for my project.

    Regards. Héctor.

    Hi Hector,

Thanks for reaching out. I will try to help with your questions. Please note that we do not provide product support or help troubleshooting here in the pre-sales forum. For help with the Events Calendar Pro, please visit the WordPress.org forum.

From the first few issues you’ve described, I don’t think Events Calendar Pro is going to be the solution. We use best practices so that our plugins will be compatible with as many themes as possible out of the box, but it still may require some level of customization to fully work with your theme.

If your theme styles are affecting the way the calendar appears in a way that you don’t want, you would likely need at least basic knowledge of CSS to be able to adjust things. If you wanted to create custom templates or make any other changes that aren’t something we have settings for, you would also need to have knowledge of PHP and HTML.

The one thing that Events Calendar Pro will be able to help with is to add the calendar to your homepage. Pro comes with a shortcode option that lets you embed a calendar anywhere on your site.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Sky
