I manage a school website, that is currently being developed in using the Beaver Builder page builder and theme. Currently we use Calendarize for the calendar but there are compatibility issues – calendarize builds the event pages in a fairly unconventional way.

Both their plugin and the BB page builder take over the content area, but theirs works first, so once ours comes in, it wipes out their stuff. Typically plugins like theirs shouldn’t take over the entire content area so plugins like ours can still tap into it without breaking anything (WooCommerce does this).

Is this also the case with The Events Calendar ? If it does work with the BB page builder can I easily move my existing events from Calendarize to TEC?

    Many thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

We do not have any features to work with either Beaver Builder or Calendarize.

It is possible Beaver Builder could work and you could test it out on the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

Our main views of Month, List, etc are setup as archives in WordPress so most likely Beaver Builder will not be able to make changes to those views or add anything to them.

As for Calendarize if you can export the data into a csv file you might be able to format and import using our csv importer:

    Thanks
