Community Submit Event Template

Howdy,

How do I change the template that submit page uses? It seems to pull in a default sidebar but I need to change that but I can’t see that it has it’s own template, or ability to change which template is being used?

Sorry should say that I’ve seen this: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/controlling-which-template-community-events-uses/ but I need to use a different template.

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately there’s not currently a way to change which page template community uses, but you should be able to use those conditional tags referenced on that post to include a different sidebar PHP file when viewing the ‘Submit an Event’ page.

Thanks Casey – must have been having a blonde moment. I read that linked solution as something that could only be used within the calendar templates – clearly not and it works fine! Thanks!
