Community Events upload- How do I hide certain fields

Hi,
I am planning to use your form to let my users upload events… I wish to hide some of the fields so that I don’t confuse them.
Can you point me in the right direction?

Hi Kate. You could hide certain fields via CSS or you could follow our Themer’s Guide to customize the Community Events form to your liking.

Sure. Start by looking at this file: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php

And if you want to edit that file, it tells you where to copy-paste-edit it in the top of the comments.

Sorry, me again….
I would like to take out:
The “All day event” tick box
The Global Stock tick box

And if pos as default tick (and hide) the google maps x 2 tick boxes and Hide Attendees list on the event page…

Is this possible?

I have found the All Day Event… but not the Global Stock one…?
And I would also be interested in the possibility are by default having google maps ticked and hiding the attendees… please.

I believe I understand what you’re asking for, but we’re limited in helping with customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.

I’ve helped point you in the right direction. If a CSS solution is satisfactory (even for just the short-term), you could easily hide the ones you want removed. If you want a checkbox to act differently, you could check it or uncheck it in PHP or via jQuery.
