Community Events: Require Pro?

I’d like to buy the Community Events plugin and add it to my site. Just confirming: can I install this plugin on The Events Calendar free version? Or do I need to buy the Community Events plugin and The Events Calendar Pro?

You do not need Pro for Community Events to Work.

Only the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
