I copied the text from Annie – SAME Problem here…

The comments as well as form to submit a comment disappeared right after the last update. I disabled all of my plugins one at a time and narrowed it down to the Events Calendar Community Events Plugin. I’m not sure why that plugin is interfering with the Discussion feature? I also double checked my Settings->Discussion options and those are correct. Please help!

AND: Community Event Form doesn´t work anynmore – Clicking the “Submit Event” – Button doesn´t trigger any action – nothing happens…..

Good afternoon Stephan and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch impacting the ability to leave comments with the latest version of Community Events.

We are actively working on a fix for this.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point.

But you will be contacted as soon as there is one and release is a matter of days.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.

In the meantime, the only know workaround is to downgrade Community Events to 4.3.2: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
