Community Events + Free Ticketing

Hi there!

Checking out the plugin now to see if it’s suitable for my purposes. So far, so great!

I have a question regarding Community Events – if it’s combined with a Ticketing plugin (such as WooCommerce), does it allow the public user to also add tickets or number of spaces while adding their community event?

The scenario I have is a calendar of community events, with limited FREE space – so tickets could be added to the free event, removing the need for the user to also create a separate event account on Eventbrite or any other free ticketing site.

On a side note, how do the plugins handle free tickets? Is there a plugin that doesn’t require WooCommerce etc, and just allows for free tickets to be claimed by attendees?

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

Unfortunately, Community Events does not work with any of our Ticketing plugins. We are working on adding that feature, but I do not have a timeline for its release.

Free tickets can be sold through any of the ticketing plugins, but it still requires a user to go through the checkout process. Depending on how you setup the eCommerce system you do not need to require a user to create an account.
