There was a discussion on 12/15/2014 about the same issue I’m having, but it’s now closed without displaying the fix. I recently enabled a CDN, Cloudflare, at Bluehost, and it asked me to change my URL from http://localemagazine.com to http://www.localemagazine.com. I suspect this is the culprit, but I don’t know how to fix it with the community events plug-in. Please help.

    Here is the discussion:

Hi, Having trouble with the community event edit page, it keeps asking users to login, even though they are already logged in (via s2member pro), creating an endless loop where it will then just take you to the main wordpress login page.

Odd, because users can get to the submit community events page, no problem?

I have W3 total cache, which I disabled and cleared, but didn’t seem to resolve the issue, nor did turning off Cloudflare.

    Thanks,
    Ben”

OK. I figured it out. This could help some people who have recently started using Cloudflare CDN from Bluehost. Cloudflare recommended that I change my URL from domain.com to http://www.domain.com.

Clicking on my “Submit an Event” menu button would take the user to a login/register page, and then would redirect back to the home page afterwards. What I noticed is that page had the address domain.com/event-submission instead of http://www.domain.com/event-submission. Therefore it was pointing to a cached page, and not the current page.

I went to Appearance > Menus and changed the reference from domain.com to http://www.domain.com and it fixed it. Then, I went to myPHPAdmin and did a search for other references and changed them too.

Oops. I meant phpMyAdmin, the MySQL tool.

I am glad to see you were able to fix this issue and thanks for the information.

Since the issue is resolved I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.

    Thanks!
