Romy
ParticipantHello,
I would like to use the calendar for my community.
Users should be able to create events independently. These entries should be free as well as paid.
How do I set the paid option?Note: it’s not about selling tickets. I know this works.
There is no way to make entries in the calendar payable.
Thank you and best regardsJanuary 5, 2017 at 7:04 am #1213726Geoff
MemberHey Romy,
Good question! While Community Events is unable to take payments for submissions to the calendar, one idea might be to use Restrict Content Pro — that would allow you to create a paywall so that folks would need to pay in order to access the Community Events submission form.
https://restrictcontentpro.com
Does that sound like it will work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantHello Geoff,
Thank you for your quick response. 🙂
That sounds good.
But…
Then I would have only one option: Pay
If I want more options like FREE or PRO or Premium, it becomes difficult.
For this I would have different options in the backend of “theeventkalender” can deposit.Just as an example:
FREE: the event has no image or a very short text.
PRO: the event has a picture and a long text and a link to the website.
Premium: the event is also displayed as a blog post.Is this possible with “theeventkalender”? So different approaches with different options for the community?
Then your suggestion would work.Thank you and Regards Romy

MemberHey Romy, thanks for following up!
I’m afraid that none of our plugins support taking payments for event submissions and to associate certain posting features with payment levels. The closest I think you will get is using Restrict Content Pro, I’m afraid, but it will not restrict what posting features are made available in Community Events.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this help answer your questions?
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
