Hi how can I show a event custom filed in php, I mean custom custom files looks not work in the post and I need t include several fields like <?php the_field(‘what’); ?>

Hi there!

Thanks for emailing support and for your question about using inline custom fields.

You can take a look at our Themer’s guide that explains in more detail how you can target different templates and what custom fields you can use. Let me know if that helps.

Hi Brendan, it looks ACF are not compatible with the events calendar, and events calendar custom fields are plain text, and there´s no option to display width HTML formmating that is very bad for me and don´t see it can be fixed… is it true?

Hi Marcos,

Yeah, ACF would be more along the lines of custom development which we do not support, however looks like some other customers have found ways to work with it. Check out this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/backend-integration-of-advanced-custom-fields/
