After updating from 4.1.2 to 4.4.5, we’ve seen a few errors from what we were able to do previously. Here’s one:
When we click the (See All) link next to recurring events, it will takes us to a list of all events in the series, but the event at the top of the page is an event that has already passed instead of the next event in the series.
This can be tested here: http://yourtownmonthly.com/events/
We set up a dev environment to test rolling back, but these are the issues we found:
In the changelogs, there’s a mention on fixing this to display all posts in the pro version: https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-4-3-event-tickets-4-4-3-premium-add-ons/
However, if we try to roll back to a few versions or two ago, we get several errors:To 4.4.2: events are out of order: http://prntscr.com/f0x5c7
To 4.3.1 (after the recurring events interface change): http://prntscr.com/f0x0cd
To 4.2.6 (before recurring events interface change): http://prntscr.com/f0x32c However, note that this resolves to the correct order
Is there a way we can get that functionality back so that See All moves to the next event in the series, and not the first or already passed event?
Thanks so much!
April 26, 2017 at 4:19 pm #1275002CliffMemberHi, William.
Thanks for your detailed report.
This is a confirmed bug.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

May 16, 2017 at 7:57 pm #1284713CliffMemberGeralynn, there is not an update yet, and I do not have an ETA. Sorry this has been lingering. Our strategy and development teams have a lot of bug and feature tickets to prioritize and complete.
