ParticipantSetting up a new version of Event Tickets Plus. We have WooCommerce installed and working. Have activated “the-events-calendar”, “event-tickets” and “event-tickets-plus” in that order.
An event has been set up and saved. Afterwards trying to add “Tickets -> + New Ticket”, filling in details, then when I click “Save Ticket”, it fires off a request to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and gets a response:
{“success”:false,”data”:”Commerce Provider invalid”}
I can’t find anywhere that asks us to define a commerce provider. What are we doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!

MemberHi Bill!
Thanks for reaching out to us. Let me help you with that issue.
From your system information I can see you are using older versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. Please make sure you update to the latest versions and see if any difference.
I highly suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.
We also encourage to make a full backup of your site, both database and files so in case something goes wrong you can always restore your site.
Please let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks Victor, yes we are running an older version of WooCommerce, but we’re not currently in a position to upgrade that right now. There’s quite a bit of work when moving up from WooCommerce 2.x to WooCommerce 3.0.
Do you have a version of your plugin that is compatible with that older version?

MemberHi Bill!
Thanks for following up with this.
Unfortunately, Event Tickets Plus minimum supported version for WooCommerce is 3.0.
I have enabled previous versions of Event Tickets Plus for your account, so you should now be able to download them from your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/. You will need to try version 4.5.6 or earlier to work with your version of WooCommerce.
Let me point you to the following article as a reference > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Please note that we’ll be very much limited in terms of how much support we can offer if you decide to downgrade.
Also bear in mind you might be affected by bugs we have fixed in more recent versions.
I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up questions.
