ParticipantHello,
In April of 2014 I created dozens of recurring events and I set the “Clean up recurring events after” option to 1 month in the settings section. This has never worked though and the events have never been “cleaned up.” I’ve updated all the Events Calendar plugins over the months as the new releases have come in but this hasn’t changed anything. While the “Create recurring events in advance for” option is working great, the “Clean up” not so much.
http://wpdev.io/dancepapi/events/I’m currently running:
The Events Calendar – Version 3.9.1
The Events Calendar PRO – Version 3.9.1
The Events Calendar: Filter Bar Version 3.9
The Events Calendar: Community Events – Version 3.9I also have The Events Calendar – Cleanup Recurrence Duplicates installed – Version 3.5
I needed this last plugin because when I updated from 3.3 to 3.4 (I think) last year the recurring events component went crazy and created thousands of duplicates.I’m running WordPress 4.1
As I’m gearing up to launch my site and migrate it to Synthesis Hosting I wanted to figure out this “Clean up” issue first as I have thousands of “old” events that don’t need to be in the system. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Thanks again for your patience here. We’re excited to get this version out the door and into your hands!
