Clash with slider on page

Hi I’ve activated both PRO and free versions and it has made my slider ‘disappear’. http://www.citizensuk.org/

I was wondering whether you might know what the clash is about? It didn’t happen before I had to delete the old premium plugin (I didn’t have access to it, as it belonged to the old developer). However, I deleted it because the dates started appearing in ascending order (oldest to newest) making the events page look stale. I don’t know whether that had something to do with the slider too (it happened when I instituted the new child theme).

Hi Zakia – your site is using jQuery 1.6.1, a relatively old version of that library.

The Events Calendar expects the current version bundled with WordPress to be in use, so that is a likely cause of this problem (please see this post for more on this problem).
