    Hi,
I’ve downloaded Events Calendar Pro and need the events to feed into a mobile application. Its unclear to me if the downloaded ics file is for an active feed or just contains the current list of events that were created. I’ve seen a lot of different threads related to this question, but just wanted to know for certain.

    Thanks

    Hi:

Thanks for reaching out to us with your question. The .ics download file contains the events listed on the calendar’s current view. If you are on Month view the .ics contains all events for that Month, Single Event would contain only that event.

By default there is no download that will give you all Events created.

Does this answer your question? Is there a particular download link you were looking at?

What type of ics file would be downloaded from this url: example.com/events/ical

If I understand you correctly, I cannot download an active ical feed of all events. And I cannot download a list of all the events, but can download a list of events for individual months or single events?

    Hi:

Thanks for following back up with us. The export of events you get from the root /events/ calendar view is dependent on the default view you have enabled for your calendar. If it is setup for “Month” view you will get all events for the current month. If you have it setup as “List” you will get the events per # of items in the list.

All of our export iCal functionality is setup to extract the same information that you see on the page.  Feel free to experiment with the extract on different views/filters and let me know if you have any other questions concerning it’s functionality.

Hi, I wanted to quickly follow-up with you to see if you are all set or if you have further questions. Please let me know if you do have additional questions I can assist with or if I should go ahead and close this thread.

    Thank you,
