ParticipantWe used the Event Ticket plus plugin for our event. Earlier we decided not to use the QR scanning functionality because it is way too slow.
After scanning the QR code it took almost 10 seconds before we had correct feedback.
In addition it takes ages for the ticket page to be loaded (over 10 seconds with 1200 bookings).
Is this known behaviour for the plugin to be this slow with this amount of bookers?
We updated the plugin today to last version, but this doesn’t make a difference.
We are hoping you could help us out on this issue.

MemberHi, Daan.
Some users do experience this because it currently requires the full wp-admin page load. Sometimes increasing your server’s performance is significantly helpful for this exact situation. Other times, not so much.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17484907-bulk-scanning-qr-codes-log-scans-at-a-later-time
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

ParticipantWe hoped to be able to solve this by using the attendees overview with the checkin toggle. However, when using for example 3 checkin laptops at the same time. It seems the checkin toggle only takes already loaded data into account, no realtime check with database to check if attendee is not already checked in.
In other words:
We had 2 latops both with the full attendee overview loaded. One person was checked in by laptop 1 after that he had a question and the second laptop also tried to check in. We expected the second laptop to give an error since the checkin was already performed by laptop 1. However also laptop 2 was able to succesfully checkin this person, without giving any warning at all.
So it seems the checkin toggle on the attendee screen does not checks realtime using the database but only what was loaded initially before the start of checkin on the page?
Is this correct? Is it not possible to use this option for checkin with multiple checkin laptops?

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
