Check-In Functionality

Hi guys,

These questions may have been answered in other threads but I have a specific goal and I wanted to see if this plug had the capability:

my client is a volunteer organization. The post events on their calendar and people who would like to volunteer RSVP. Now, I’m aware that using QR codes, the person running the event can “check-in” people who attend the event. Here is what they would like:

-when a person checks in – they automatically get an email from admin thanking them for their service

Also, some people show up to these events without having RSVP’s before hand (hence, no QR code). Is there a way to add their name and email address on the fly, at the event, so that they would also receive this email?

Hi Michael.

I’m guessing you could fire a custom email on the rsvp_checkin action hook (Event Tickets).

There are other hooks in Event Tickets Plus, too:

• eddtickets_checkin
• wootickets_checkin
• wpectickets_checkin

Let me know if that’s enough to get things moving forward for you.
