ParticipantThe sales page for Woocommerce Tickets states; ‘Want to have cheap tickets or special packages for the first 100 buyers? Aiming to give discounts to those who buy earlier than a week before the event?’. I have worked right through the primer and all the results from searching your website but I cannot find anything within Events or Woocommerce that offers these options. Any suggestions?

MemberHi!
This is not covered directly by our plugin – rather it derives from the fact that WooCommerce Tickets builds on top of WooCommerce itself, which provides a powerful range of selling tools (including promotions/discounts).
There is some great documentation on WooCommerce over on the WooThemes site: http://docs.woothemes.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/
Does that help?

ParticipantIn fairness, I think it would be better if you explained this clearly on the sales page. I have looked at the Woocommerce site and you are absolutely right I can add Dynamic Pricing but this adds $129 for Tickets to be able to do what you advertise it as being capable of.

MemberOK, well that’s a fair comment – though on second reading I think I may have led you down the wrong path and the copy on the WooCommerce Tickets product page is actually referring to a consequence of the fact that tickets can be date-bound.
So, for Event X, you might have Tickets A and B. Ticket A could offer early bird pricing and only be available from March 1 – April 1, Ticket B could be available at a higher price and be available from April 2 onwards.
Similarly you could offer 100 of Ticket A initially then once they have sold out increment the stock and change the price / replace it with Ticket B (in relation to the other scenario you mentioned, of an initial run at a lower price followed by full price tickets, but not in a strictly time limited fashion).
The more complicated the scenario and the deeper the level of integration then the more likely you are to need a dedicated add-on or else may have to do some customization work of your own – such as if you want to automate the switchover of one ticket to another – but certainly with a little creative thinking you can effectively carry out pretty much all of those things you mentioned without additional addons.
Does that clarify things at all?
