Character limit – event description

How do I limit/edit the characters shown in my event descriptions on my parent ‘calendar’ page. My event descriptions require a lot of bullet points, tables and listings, which come across horribly on the actual event descriptions. Please see attached screenshot for your reference.

So is there a way to limit/not show the description at all? Or can we only preface with our text of choice.

Hi, Aidan. Do you only want to remove it from the List View or all views?

Ideally all views but I predominantly use the map view.. if I could remove it from just there I’d be happy.

add_filter( 'tribe_events_get_the_excerpt', '__return_empty_string' );
