    Last year there was some discussion around how to do this, and I have the some problem. Barry from the support team gave a hack solution, I don’t have much PHP or HTML experience, so is there now an easier way to do this now? Please help! Here’s the post that i did read.     Hi earthrangers,

    There’s one other shared solution that I know of: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/reoccuring-event-shows-multiple-times-in-loop/

    You can try that but you’re on your own for implementing it. We do have this coming as a feature in our upcoming 3.0 release. We don’t have an ETA as of yet, but I’d be glad to share the beta with you if you’re interested in checking it out and helping us test. Let me know.

    Hi Jonah,
    Thanks for responding. Do you have a release date for 3.0? If it’s in the near future then i’d rather wait for this than do some custom code. I’m interested in being part of the BETA test, so let me know when you’re ready!

    Hi Jonah,
    Thanks for the link – before we install our content team had a couple questions:
    1) When the full release is out, will it update automatically or do we need to install again?
    2) If after we install the BETA, if we decide to revert back to 2.0 should there be issues, is this possible?

    Hey Robb,

    You’re welcome. To answer your questions:

    1. You may be able to auto update but in general it will more likely require a manual update.
    2. It’s possible to revert back but we don’t have any automated process for this. My suggestion would be to make a full backup of your sites files and db before updating to be able to revert back to that.

    I hope that answers your questions, but let me know if you have any others.
