Changing the "Recurring event" text

I’m using the recurring event feature to schedule a class that is held over three non-consecutive weekends. It appears correctly on the calendar, but “recurring” is not really the accurate way to describe this single, multi-day event. I would like to change “Recurring event | See all” to say, “Multi-day event | Check all dates,” or something like that.

So I found the function that inserts this text, and edited it for now, but I know that changing the function is not the right way to do this. Is there a snippet that I could use to make this change?

Thanks for reaching out! You are correct that changing the function directly is not ideal, since the changes will be overridden with future plugin updates. We actually have a guide that provides instructions for changing text around your site.
