ParticipantI have just purchased and installed Events Calendar PRO. I am very pleased overall with the product. One oddity that I cannot seem to fix is that the calendar is called “Archive” and I cannot find where to change that. I have attached a screenshot of what I am talking about. The URL is ecww.org and you get to it through News and Events->Events Calendar.
One other question is how can I change the grey color scheme of the day of the week section to a custom color?

MemberGood evening Kerry and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I am pretty sure this comes from your theme.
In most cases, that can be fixed using one of the following articles:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-events-calendar-with-constants/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/altering-or-removing-titles-on-calendar-views/
If that does not work, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberOoops, I pressed “send” a bit quickly. My bad!

In order to gain full power on your site’s look and feel, I would highly recommend reading the following articles:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-customizer/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-fonts-and-colours/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/styling-events-widgets/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantI have tried putting define(‘TRIBE_MODIFY_GLOBAL_TITLE’, true); in the wp-config.php file, but there is no change. It appears that the old calendar that was in here before the Events Calendar had the same url (https://ecww.org/events) and this seems to have somehow corrupted the code so that the word “Archives” is being pulled out for the following:
<!–
<div class=”header-post-title-container clearfix”>
<div class=”inner-wrap”>
<div class=”post-title-wrapper”>
< h1 class=”header-post-title-class entry-title”>Archives< /h1 >
</div>
</div>
</div>
–>Is there a way to rename the URL to something other than “events”?

MemberGood evening Kerry,
Thank you for writing back.
Your theory is totally worth checking out. You can change the “events” URL to whatever you like.
You simply need to:- Head over to Events -> Settings -> General and change it
- Re-save your permalinks
If that does not work, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

MemberGood evening Kerry,
Thank you for the files.
I have found where to fix the issue.More specifically, you will need to take a look at /wp-content/themes/spacious-pro/header.php around line 158.
Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, if you add a conditional for post-type-archive-tribe_events pages, you will be able to return a H1 like “events” instead of archives.
Let me know how that goes.
