Changing the background colour to an image with cat colours

Hey,

So I want to have custom images for my category titles that appear above the month view. I just can’t figure out the code to use to change the background on each selected category.

Can anyone help?

Hi Steve,

Not 100% clear as to whether you wish to change the background colour, add an image or both of those things, but – though not an official Modern Tribe plugin – The Events Calendar Category Colors might give you a few ideas here.

It might not do quite what you want by itself, but if you take a peek at the code you’ll see examples of detecting the current event category and of setting up CSS to change background/border properties.
