    Hello,
I have a pretty serious issue. I am using Event Tickets Plus along with WooTheme’s Sensei to sell training events. Once a user signs up for an event and pays they are required to complete their online course prior to showing up to the in-person training they purchased. On a few occasions we’ve had to change the venue or pricing on a given event but when we do it doesn’t change in some or all the places where the purchaser can see the information. In their account where they see their purchase it might change their date in one place or not at all. We’re having the problem now where on the website the date in the event calendar is correct but the date on the buyer’s ticket and the date in their account for that event are the old dates. We’re having people show up for these training events on the wrong day or in the wrong venue because changes aren’t being reflected properly across the system. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as my client is becoming increasingly displeased at me and the system but I can’t seem to see how this issue can be resolved. Thanks!
    Mike

    Hi there Michael,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue! Let’s try to fix this as soon as possible…

From the screenshots I understand the date is not being updated or showing correcting in two places: single event view and events list view. Right? My first guess is this might be a caching issue (although I don’t recognize a caching plugin other than Wordfence which has an extra feature for performance/caching). If there’s any cache plugin active or a caching layer in the server, Can you try to refresh / invalidate cache? Sometimes looking at the page as a login users works for this, but it depends on the caching method implemented.

Does Event Ticket’s send an update email to the buyer if the event details change in any way?

Right now this is not possible 🙁

Also I see you marked as this was tested with default theme and no other plugins active, the same happened in that scenario?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

Thanks for the response Nico. On the email after event data changes, thank you for letting me know. Adding the feature in the system that updates purchasers of changes would be a great feature that would save a lot of time. On the event info inconsistency issue, I don’t have the caching feature in Wordfence turns on as I have not liked it’s performance in the past. I suspected caching on this issue as well and since I can’t replicate the issue and it’s been a week since anyone has had this issue I suspect that it was a caching issue on the user’s side of things. I’m going to chalk this up to being a specific user’s browser caching and not a real technical at this point. Thanks for your help, I’m considering this matter closed.

Thanks for the heads-up Michael! Glad this is resolved 🙂

If this crops up again be sure to reach out.

I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best,
    Nico
