Events edited in Google Calendar appear to import as separate events, not modifications of existing events. I changed the descriptions for three events in Google Calendar, and instead of overwriting the old events on my website’s calendar, the Events Aggregator created brand new events for them (it also kept the old events, leading to duplicate—and inconsistent—entries).

Thanks so much for reaching out!

The events may not be updated on your site because your Event Update Authority is set to preserve changes made on your site.

If you’d prefer to have these changes overwritten by your Google Calendar, I’d recommend changing that setting.

In addition, I’d recommend updating all Events Calendar related plugins to their most recent versions and testing again.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
