    Hi guys, scanned the forums first, new user.

    I want to change the Community submission form to add some instructions/text/maybe html pre-form (and post-form).

    How would I go about doing that?
    Copy the edit-event.php to a theme folder per customisation instructions?
    Then what? I looked at edit-event.php and there doesn’t seem to be too much echoing of html, mostly includes of templates and other elements.

    (FWIW, it would be awesome if the add event etc pages were created on install, and we could edit it, much as you can do with the auto-created pages WooCommerce creates).

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on our support forums.

    ON the Line 26 of the edit-event.php file you will see a “do_action(“tribe_events_community_form_before_template”);” you can type your HTML instructions there.
