Change Recurring Event Venue – Causes event to no longer be recurring

If I edit a recurring event venue (for the same concert, but at a different venue on the second day), when I go back to the events listings both events are no longer set to recurring.

Looks like the answer I gave in your other thread may not work if you are having this issue here 😉

So…to help you out with this, can you give us a few details. First of all, have you changed anymore then the venue? And second of all when you say that the event is no longer recurring, do you mean that it gets deleted or that the post doesn’t show up, or that the events aren’t linked as being part of a series?

(As a side note on the suggestion you posted here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/single-event-listing-two-days-two-venues/. If you are going to make a suggestion in the suggestions thread, maybe referring to these particular events as a “Series” or a “Tour” could help with other users understanding your concept. I can see now a little clearer after reading this issue, what you are looking for in the other thread)
