Change or remove default start time

The unnecessary presets unfortunately interfere. I found this: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-default-startend-time-for-new-events/
I copied the string in the template’s function.php. But I dont’t know what to do with this code: new Tribe_Events_Change_Default_Times( … ). Where should I insert it? events-meta-box.php??

Thanks for reaching out with your question.

Normally the “new …” line would also need to go to the functions.php file. However, I tested this snippet, and I guess because there were substantial changes made in the recent release, it doesn’t seem to work any more.

I will check with the team if someone can take a look and maybe fix this, however I cannot promise anything.

One of my team mates was kind enough to look at this and did an extension for this functionality.

You can download it from here: https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2017/01/tribe-ext-default-event-times.zip

And upload it to your site as any plugin and activate it.

Afterwards you will see the settings under Events > Settings > General tab and will look like this:

Test it and let me know if this does the work for you.
