You’ll want to start at Events » Settings » Display and change the Date with year option I believe. The official guide to modifying how these are displayed is located at https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time. You’ll notice the day of the week is represented with the letter “l”, and the full month name with the letter “F”.
If that doesn’t work, you can customize the widget display further by going to the Themer’s Guide to create a custom override that won’t break when plugin updates happen.
Let me know if the first option works out for you.
Hi Courtney I tried it out but only the displayed date under the event of the name changes. Not the “SEP” in the box in the left. Is there another solution?
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
