Change month spelling on events calendar widget

Hello, please advise on where I can change the “Sep 2013” on my events widget (jingdaily.com) to “Sept 2013”. Thank you!

Hi jingdaily,

PHP itself doesn’t quite support what you want here, but you could add a snippet like this one to your theme’s functions.php file (or another suitable place) and work around it nonetheless.

Thank you so much, that’s exactly what I needed! I had thought before to do a jQuery find and replace there but this is much better in the long run!
