change info on single event page

Hi,

First of all enjoy your Holidays…….

Question: On the single event page (see pics) I need to:

1. disable the link to the category…
2. the page has alot of wasted white space? I would like to put all the info to the right side of the
   featured pic.

Hi Mel,

I hope your holidays were fantastic as well!

To disable the category link, take a look at the snippet in this article. You can add it to the functions.php file of your child theme.

To move the content to the right side of the featured image, you would need to add some custom CSS. This is a bit outside the scope of support that we are able to provide here in the forums, but I would recommend taking a look at this article as a starting point. You could also edit the template directly to rearrange the elements or add additional markup by following these instructions. If you get stuck on this or have any questions, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
