Change default sort in the backend

Hello all. I’d like to make it easier for us to edit instances of recurring events by defaulting to showing the next, upcoming events in the events list. So, in essence, I want to hide past events and sort by Start Date without having to muck about with filters. Any way to do this?

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Being able to control the events in the dashboard is the core purpose of our Advanced Post Manager plugin and the filters that they allow you to make on the data within your dashboard.

If you would like to modify this without the filters, I can point you in the direction of using a pre_get_posts filter on the events within the dashboard however further customization support for this instance would be beyond what we’re able to provide in support.
