category title in month

following this guide here all works fine , biggest problem i need separate colors for the category prefix to the event title color i have tried every css i can think of using firebug etc etc bust just seem impossible to target just the prefix ? please see image attached for clarity .

also can the same be added on single events ??

I would love to help you with this topic.

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, as it stands, you are right, it is going to be pretty hard to style the category prefix. You will need to at least add a <span> around the category prefix.

This can be accomplished in one of 2 ways:

1. Tweaking the snippet to include a span
2. Using the snippet as an inspiration create a template override (custom view) where you can include the concept from the snippet while creating a span.

   You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
