ParticipantOn this page:
http://pol.princetonol.com/~psrc/calendar-view-rentals/
which uses the following shortcode: [tribe_events view=”month” category=”rentals”]
When you click the next month, it takes you to the FULL calendar of all categories. Is there a way to go the next month where the rentals category events are the only events displayed?
Thanks!

ParticipantThrowing my hat in the ring here, as I’m experiencing the same issue when using the shortcode in list view with a category specified. Every time I hit “next page” it loads events from all categories, not the one I’ve specified. It’s an Ajax issue, as if I hit the URL directly for page 2, the proper events are loaded.
Hoping for a quick fix here, as I’m planning to launch my site this week, but can’t with pagination broken like this.

KeymasterHi Matt,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue as well! I just checked on our internal ticket for this, and unfortunately I don’t yet have a timeline that I can give you as to when this will be resolved. We’ll let you know as soon as we have an update!

ParticipantThat’s pretty crazy. Would have thought this would be a top priority, as core functionality (event archives) is broken.
Ended up replacing all of the shortcode loops with WP Query loops, as I didn’t want this to hold up my site launch this week. Also, I wasn’t a fan of the Ajax loading anyway, so I was already considering going this route.

KeymasterHi Matt,
I’m glad that you were able to find a solution for the time being (or one that works even better for you going forward)…I definitely understand where you’re coming from, and we do try to fix bugs as soon as possible. It doesn’t always happen as soon as we would like it to, as we do have a number of bugs, features, performance enhancements, etc. that our developers are working on at any given time. Still, we do appreciate your patience and will post an update here as soon as we have one!

MemberHi There!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of out plugins is out, including a fix for this issue.
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-29-july-2018/
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site. Please update the plugins and let us know if the fix works for your site.
Best,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
