When I am specifying a category in the url (for example tennis):
EX: http://www.mywebsite.com/events/category/tennis/month/
and then click on a link below the calendar to go to the next month or previous month it does not keep the category I want event though the url displays this:
EX: http://www.mywebsite.com/events/category/sports/tennis/2013-09/August 15, 2013 at 10:30 am #60570Stacy RichardsParticipantOops forgot my question.
I would like to have it keep the category I choose but allow me to go forward in time. Did I do something wrong?August 15, 2013 at 11:43 am #60586BarryMemberThat’s interesting. I believe I can see the same thing even on our demo site – so I’ll get this logged and hopefully we can get it addressed shortly.
Thanks for reporting this 🙂

August 20, 2013 at 7:31 am #61561Stacy RichardsParticipantDo you know of any timeline when a patch will be released to fix this issue?
August 20, 2013 at 8:28 am #61599BarryMemberI would hope it would be rolled into our next maintenance release – and we’re generally back to a schedule of monthly maintenance releases.
October 31, 2014 at 2:02 pm #852884SusanParticipantI seem to be having this same issue. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins (besides Events Calendar & Events Calendar Pro) and activating the Twenty Eleven theme and clicking the next month link still displays all events. Here is an example category: http://www.agoodyarnsarasota.com/calendar/category/classes/needlepoint-classes-events/.
Thanks in advance for you help!
October 31, 2014 at 3:11 pm #852975BarryMemberHi odatomarketing,
I’m sorry to hear that as we did think we had solved this one and – using our latest releases – I am not actually able to replicate the problem.
With that in mind can I ask you to create a new thread? Right at this time I’m not sure it is a general bug and would love to dig in further, but it would help us to keep things tidy if you could create a new thread (otherwise, of course, everyone else in this thread will continue to receive notifications as we carry on this discussion which – right now – seems to be specific to your site only).
Thanks! (…and I’ll go ahead and close out this thread.)
