what should I do plz?

and , actually, I really think that adding icon would be great. can you plz consider this into the next update?

Unfortunately we do not provide support for third party plugins like The Events Calendar Category Colors. Be sure to check out their FAQ page. Also they seem to be up to date with their support page so you can hit them there.

Regarding category icons feature, that def sounds like a nice thing to have. Would you mind posting it to The Events Calendar user voice page? We collect feedback from our users in there.

As far as I can tell, the class category is shown as tribe-events-category-%e4%b8%89%e9%a0%85%e9%90%b5%e4%ba%ba, this is also how the CSS looks but there must be something about the escaping of the category slug to invalid characters that screws with the CSS.

You might want to cross-post this on The Events Calendar forum as it’s really an issue with how that plugin creates the category name.

Thanks a lot for following up on this! Indeed it seems to be a language related issue.

What language is your site in? Can you share with me the un-escaped category name?
Also if you try this with a category with English name, does it work as expected?

Thanks for following up on this once again!

Faster way to get this running I guess can be using category name in Chinese and category slug in English.

Does that sound like a possible solution for you? Can you give that a try?
