Category Colors not showing in "Events Calendar Settings"

I apologize if this is a stupid question-however it seems so basic that I can’t even find a mention of it anywhere-so maybe something’s broken.
1) created several categories + corresponding slugs for the Events Calendar
2) Downloaded/installed/activated “The Events Calendar Category Colors” plugin
3) In the dashboard, when I go to >events>settings>category colors, I see “Category – Slug – Border Color – Background Color – Text Color – Current Display” in a row, but my categories do not appear beneath them where (I presume) I would set the colors – have I missed something really (really) obvious? Thanks!

zeke, The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin is not written by Modern Tribe. It’s best to go to the support forum in the WordPress repo. That being said, you must first have events assigned to categories. Once you have events you’ll see the category show up and then you can start to play.

Be sure to rate the plugin and let me know if you have any problems.
