Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to tribe_array_merge_recursive() must be of the type array, boolean given, called in /home/XXXXXX/public_html/XXXXXX.com/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Meta/Storage.php on line 97 and defined in /home/sealigh6/public_html/trainadog.com/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/common/src/functions/utils.php on line 14

I can only add one item to a cart, check out is fine, then when I try to do another transaction, I get this error. Now all three of my browsers won’t let me add an item to the cart without an issue.

Good evening Eric and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about this issue creeping up on your website.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The good news is that has been identified by other users as a legitimate bug which is now one of our top priorities.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.

In the meantime, there are a couple of workarounds available:

    1. You could add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/http-error-500-when-trying-to-save-attendee-info/#post-1163856
    2. You can read the following article on transients (and how to deal with them – since the issue here is transient related): https://theeventscalendar.com/favorite-developer-plugins/

We apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused so far.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Thanks for your response. Hopefully this gets taken care of soon, but I just implemented the change to the storage.php file. It looks like this worked. Thanks!

    Good afternoon Eric,

    Thank you for writing back.

I am glad that the workaround snippet did the job on your install!

Hang in there as we implement this in one of our upcoming releases.
As promised, you will be contacted as soon as a fix is out.

    Have a good week-end,

    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
