I am looking to dump my Events Manager plugin, and am seriously looking at Events Calendar, Pro. I am having insane problems loading events and changing past recurring events. I usually run close to 15K event listings per year, and am looking to increase that. I need to know the following

1. Can I have my developer set it to display “List View” as the default on the front end?
2. Any suggestions on how I can (if possible) transfer all mt data, or is it going to be a start from scratch scenario?

I can answer your questions.

We have a setting in the backend where you can make the List View the Default View.

The Events Calendar

We do not have a Event Manager importer, but you could try exporting the events as a csv and then importing them that way. This will work for single events, but not for recurring events.
