Can't See Event Details When Link Is Clicked in Calendar

On a mobile device (latest Samsung Galaxy cellphone), the Calendar displays but if you click on a day with an Event on it, nothing happens – so you cannot see the details of the event. A client told me he is using a Motorola Maxx and the same thing occurs.
