ParticipantDear support,
I’ve downloaded and installed Events Calendar and Facebook Importer correctly. I activated license, created a FB app and copied APP ID and App Secret. Everything was fine. Then I tried to import events from Import:Facebook page. It doesn’t work in any case: inserting public Facebook page’s ID in Settings, manually inserting event’s ID in import:Facebook or automatically fetching events through pages added.
The error is:
“The following errors have occurred:
Either the event with ID 534165396662417 does not exist, is marked as private on Facebook or we couldn’t reach the Facebook API
Please note that as a result, no events were successfully imported.
The following errors have occurred during importing images:
URL indicata non valida.
Please note that this does not effect importing of associated events unless noted.”I tried with future, public, and 13+ events from facebook pages of which i am the owner, without success.
Then i found this discussion: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/cant-import-fb-events/
I am currently on a Windows Server. Is it definitively a problem related to cUrl function which has been disabled on php?
I can give you access details to my website and WP admin, and to FB app if needed to check it.
If not possible to use the plugin on Windows Servers, it’s a real pity… and I will kindly ask for a refund since it is not specified in the tech or FAQS. Thanks in advance.

ParticipantHello argolab,
I’m sorry you’ve had troubles with our plugin. We never meant to mislead you, but you are correct that we are having ongoing troubles with Windows servers. I do really appreciate your comment about making a mention of it on the product and/or FAQ pages and will look into that.
To request your refund, please send an email to pro (at) tri.be and reference this thread. They will take care of you right away.

ParticipantDear Julie,
thanks for your kind reply!
I will try to figure out if there’s any chance to make it work. It’s a VPS so I can directly try to fix the problem. In negative case, that would be a real pity because the product is wonderful and it really satisfied my client’s needs. Otherwise I will upload it on a non-windows server. I’ll let you know in a week if i found out a solution and my final decision.
Thanks again for support.
