Can't get Facebook Events to import properly

Every time I try to import facebook events to my wordpress site, I get this message:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Apache Server at [my url] Port 80

I deactivated all the plugins, and reverted to the default 2011 theme, but still got this message:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/02/11296302/html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-imagick.php on line 244

I tried manually importing them by their facebook id’s and still got an error message.
What’s even stranger, is that they would partially import, maybe one or two, but never the whole set. What can I do to fix this??!!

Sorry you’re experiencing such difficulties 🙁

My inclination is that the issue here is your hosting environment and its connectivity, but before we jump the gun can I just confirm that deactivating all other plugins as well as switching to a default, unmodified theme had no impact here? (I do see you noted having tried both these steps, I’d just like to be clear that you tried both in tandem and that there was still no improvement in the situation.)
