Cant add State/Province In Venues

Hey! Happy New Year all! Just a small note. I’m in Canada. If I set my venue to canada the state dropdown is hidden and an input field for prov is presented. After entry of a province it is input into the database as _VenueProvince in wp_postmeta but it does not display in the admin, at least for me. The field still appears empty giving you the impression no province has been entered.

Hi Samuel, this does appear to be an issue and not only with Canada… I’ll get it logged as a bug and we’ll get it fixed in a future release! Thanks for the report!

Hey Samuel. Just a heads up that we’ve got this fixed in the current 2.0.3 beta code; that should be live as a stable finished release within about a week or so. Thanks again for the tip!
