ParticipantHi,
We’re switching from WooTickets to Event Ticket PlusHowever, if I go to Events > Settings I don’t have an option to enter a licence key for Event Ticket Plus?
I know our licence has just expired but surely we can still use the product?
ThanksSeptember 14, 2016 at 8:46 am #1163935Geoff
MemberHi Simon,
So sorry for the trouble here with the licenses! You may definitely use Event Tickets Plus with Event Tickets, even if your license is expired.
I do want to note that a license is not required for the plugin to work — entering the license activates automatic updates for the plugin and access to these support forums but the plugins should otherwise work without the key entered in the settings.
Will you please head to Events > Settings > Help, copy the system information at the bottom of the page and paste it here for me as a private reply? I want to check which versions of the plugins you are using because they all need to be the same version number in order to work together and issues like this can happen if they do not match.
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂
Thanks!

MemberThanks so much, Simon!
This is the line that I think is causing the issue:
The Events Calendar version 4.0.6 by Modern Tribe
Will you please update The Events Calendar to the latest version. That’s currently 4.2.6, though I know we are planning to release another minor update (4.2.7) today or tomorrow.
When you update, definitely be sure to backup your site files and database as you would with any other WordPress update. 🙂
Let’s see if that brings back the option to add your license key to the plugin settings.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks again
I rolled back to a previous version and that seems to have worked (ensuring all plugins are the same version number)
Cheers
