Participant(and since I’ve already hijacked the thread, I’ll do it again to report this …) I’m getting 502 Bad Gateway from your nginx server when I leave a comment. The comment is there when I return to this page, but I’m shunted off to the 502 page in the interim. It’s happened a couple of times.

ParticipantHi Mike,
If you want to duplicate/copy posts I would suggest this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicate-post/
On the 502 Gateway error, thanks for the report on this. We’ve been seeing it intermittently as well and I have a ticket out to get it fixed ASAP.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi,
I emailed re this same problem. I’m not a webdesigner, just like using my site and making changes. I’ve been having the same problems with recurring events – I can make some changes, but only sometimes. Other times i get the issue with it not letting me update. And changing the venue for a recurring event is the main issue now, it won’t let me do that at all.In the past, I had an issue where I simply deleted the recurring event and re-made it, as I couldn’t make changes at all, but this time I’m able to do some, but it took many tries. Thanks for working on this, hope it’s resolved soon!

ParticipantHi Lucia,
First, make sure you are running the latest versions of all event related plugins and WordPress. Then, if you’re still having issues, try deactivating all other plugins to see if there’s maybe a conflict going on. If that doesn’t work either try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s a problem with your theme. Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi David,
Unfortunately not. I’m going to poke the team again on this and will get back to you as soon as I know more.

ParticipantHi guys,
Has anyone seen this fixed with 2.0.9? It seems to be working ok for me now under 2.0.9. Let me know what guys find.
Thanks,
JonahSeptember 11, 2012 at 10:00 am #24817David
ParticipantHas 2.0.9 been released yet? It’s still showing 2.0.8 for me in the downloads section.

ParticipantOoops, my bad. 2.0.9 has not been released yet but it will be shortly. Please look for it and try it out when it comes out because I’m pretty positive this fixes the issues.
Thanks,

ParticipantAlright everybody, 2.0.9 is out as of yesterday. Can anyone else verify whether this issue has been fixed for them?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi,
I’ve tried updating all plugins, including this latest version, and WP update, and no change. I’m not confident enough to deactivate all other plugins and change my theme, as I didn’t create this site and don’t want to make any changes i can’t fix!
any other thoughts, or others with this issue?
thanks,

ParticipantSorry, haven’t yet had chance to test the update. Will try to do so today.

ParticipantUnfortunately the first recurring event I added following the update to 2.0.9 failed to save. I’d appreciated if this could be looked at as a matter of urgency – it looks as though quite a few people are having problems with this.
It also doesn’t appear to be theme related as we are all using different themes.
Thanks.September 14, 2012 at 2:52 am #25083David
ParticipantUpdate, the second attempt saved ok. It’s a strange scenario – quite often the problem occurs only when the initial recurring event has been saved, then when u try to make a change it will refuse to save.
My first attempt (as per above post) I had gotten the end date wrong so had to change it and it wouldn’t save so I deleted it and started again. Worked ok the second time.
