cannot display more than 3 events per day

Hi there – love your calendar – except – I cannot display more than 3 events per day. I have changed settings to display 4 events, and to display -1, neither of which changed anything. Not in month view or list view. There are very few instances where I have more than 3 events, so I am aware of the ‘cost’ but need this forth event to show. The date in question is august 2, the event in ‘Guru Puja’ it is a recurring event.

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that issue.

From your system settings I can confirm that the amount of events per day to show in the month view is set to 4 like you say. So that seems to be ok. But bear in mind, this setting will only change the number of events to show in a day but only for the month view and no other views.

The number of events to show when in list view can be set by going to Events > Settings > General tab and changing the Number of events to show per page field.

I tried searching for the event ‘Guru Puja’ but could not find the event for August 2. Could you please see if it’s one of the recurring instances for the Guru Puja event and share that link with us?

Hi there, the ‘guru puja’ is a recurring instance. When I have that event open to edit all, it shows up as a recurring instance. But when I have the list of all my events displaying, that date does not show up. Is it because I entered the recurring dates out of sequence? (ie I entered in the august 2, after a date in November?

Thanks for coming back with all that info!

I can see that the event instance for August 2 is before the main event date August 17th. Could you please try inverting this and make the main event to be on August 2nd and then August 17th to be an instance for that recurring event? Does it change anything?

Regarding the amount of events per day to show in the month being 4, I could not find any day that has more than 3 events, so perhaps this is why you are not seeing 4 events per day. Try adding another event to any of those days and see if it shows.
