    Hi,

    We have a website where schools can book training courses and events for their teachers (10 to 20 per course). As there are several tickets wrong bookings happen, therefore we have to cancel orders. Is it possible to cancel an order and get the stock back automatically in the event and product?

    We have tried to work it out manually but it won’t be possible long term and we are currently struggling to get the stock right.

    Sorry to hear about some of the issues you’ve been having with cancelling orders and getting the stock back in line.

    We recently published a Knowledgebase article that covers how to cancel orders and reset stock counts. Check that article out here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-cancel-tickets-order/

    ☝️ This article also has links to documentation for specific eCommerce platforms, so if you’re using WP eCommerce you should be able to use these methods in combination with some of the WP eCommerce documentation linked to, and should be able to cancel orders and tickets without it ruining your stock counts.

    I’m sorry to hear that you were not able to find specific information on their Documentation site about cancelling orders!

    I would recommend contacting their support team for assistance on how to cancel or refund orders.

    Once you figure out how to process refunds in WP E-Commerce, you can refer to the “Stock Counts and Attendees After the Refund” section of this article ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-cancel-tickets-order/

    That information should still be useful and should help with resetting stock counts to your liking after processing an order.
