ParticipantWe have created an event, but have a list of attendees that were not attained through the event. Is there a way to merge the existing names into the event list, so the client only has to look one place for all attendees?

MemberHi, John.
I’m not clear what you mean by “have a list of attendees that were not attained through the event” but please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-tickets/ and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

ParticipantI’m sorry for not explaining well. We had people buy tickets in person before we set up the online event for people to purchase their tickets. We would like to add those names to the attendee list through the Plugin so everything is in one place, but I’m not seeing an add option. My guess is it cannot be done, but it is worth being sure.

MemberYou can import tickets (to be purchased) but not purchases:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
You could manually buy all the tickets for these users if they’re already registered on your site by using https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-switching/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)
If you go this route, you could use a coupon code that they don’t know about to make the price “free” even if it’s not really because they previously paid in person.
You could request such functionality as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
