Can we show start and end time on the monthly view?

I tried to do it by following the instructions on this article:

but I broke the theme. Luckily, I had a backup functions.php file so I restored the site.

I checked the original code and that works for me. Did you do any modifications? Can you paste in the code for me, so I take a look?

Also, if you give me an example how you would like it to look exactly, I might be able to do that for you.
