can this layout be achieved with TEC?

I am trying to build a calendar widget like in the following mockup, with the date ina little colored block alongside event details. Can this be achieved and if so, can you point me to the relevant documentation for customizing the templates? Please understand, I am a freelancer and not interested in hiring a freelancer to customize your plugin. I just need to know how it’s done.
